Sunflower & Sun Collar Enamel Pin

A sunflower with an eye, linked by a detachable chain to a small sun. Inspired by the myth of Clytie, who loved the sun god Helios and turned into a flower always facing the sun.

You can wear this as a collar pin or take off the chain and only wear them individually as you please.

It comes pinned on a card telling the story, the story being written by Duncan Wilson, commissioned by me specifically to go with the pin and having the perfect length to go on a backing card.

(Fun fact! The original myth featured heliotropes but throughout the past few centuries, artists have been portraying it with sunflowers!)
